CH4 global secures $29m to fund expansion

CH4 Global, a climate technology company, has secured $29m in funding for its second development phase. The funds will be used to establish the CH4 Global EcoPark™, an aquaculture and production facility aimed at producing a seaweed-based feed ingredient called Asparagopsis seaweed at a commercial scale. When added to cattle feed, Asparagopsis can reduce methane emissions by up to 90%, helping combat climate change. With over 1.5 billion cows producing more than 150 million tons of methane annually, this technology has the potential to significantly mitigate methane emissions from animal agriculture.
