European Commission invites stakeholders to join support group for energy transition in fisheries and aquaculture

The European Commission's Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries is seeking stakeholders to join a newly established Support Group within the Energy Transition Partnership (ETP) for EU fisheries and aquaculture. This group will play a vital advisory role in advancing the sector’s energy transition towards climate neutrality by 2050. Comprising 10 coordinators representing various stakeholder categories, the group will work on themes like innovation, skills development, and regulatory frameworks. Members will influence the future of EU fisheries and aquaculture by contributing to the Energy Transition roadmap. Applications are open until 23 September 2024. (WeAreAquaculture)
