Grosvenor purchases first carbon credits from the Terraformation mangrove project

Grosvenor's UK property business has funded the restoration of over 1,500 hectares of mangroves in Ghana, marking the first verified carbon unit sale from Terraformation's Seed to Carbon Forest Accelerator. The investment in the Regenerative Development of Anlo Wetlands (ReDAW) project is expected to sequester over one million tonnes of CO2 equivalent by 2064. The project, which includes training and jobs for 350 people, aims to restore natural habitats and contribute to Ghana's goal of restoring two million hectares of degraded land by 2030.
