UK advances NZT Power Project with key contracts

The UK's Net Zero Teesside Power (NZT Power), set to be among the first commercial-scale gas-fired power stations with carbon capture, has announced eight crucial contract packages. This bp and Equinor joint venture will incorporate cutting-edge technologies to capture and store up to 2 million tonnes of CO2 annually. The captured CO2 will be transported and stored in the North Sea's Endurance saline aquifer. The project is integral to the East Coast Cluster initiative, aiming to decarbonise the UK’s Humber and Teesside industrial regions by 2027. (POWER Magazine)
